Tonya Cryer, mother of Jazmayne a current senior at Pacific Beauty College in Los Angeles became fascinated with the idea of hairdressing at the tender age of 8. Tonya set out to achieve high goals and in 2005 became a member of Local 706 Motion Picture and Television Hairstylists and Makeup Artist Union as well as Professional Cosmetologist and Licensed Instructor in 1992.

Tonya is a graduate of Pacific Beauty College under the teachings of Mr. Cedric Goines. Tonya is also an alumni of Dudley’s Cosmetology University. Tonya attended On Set Motion Picture Hair Academy where she learned the art of wig making, styling and creating Period Hair Pieces for the television and film industry.

Tonya performed as an Advanced Technical Instructor and Platform Artist for Revlon Professional. Tonya trained professionals and students in application, product knowledge, hair cutting and styling.

Tonya has traveled the United States enduring extensive training. She has found that her purpose in life is to help people reach their full potential through motivation and assistance in the area of image consulting. Tonya Cryer created Stylist On Call for consumers to locate a team of professionals who can help them look and feel their best. Tonya is currently a hairstylist at her own private studio in North Hollywood and a personal hairstylist to former Miss America and ABC Televison Show Ugly Betty's Co-star Ms. Vanessa L. Williams.
