WORKSHOPS OFFERED:
Working with synthetic and human
hair wigs
Fee: $375.00 1 day class
In this class students will learn to
work with synthetic and human hair wigs including
how to style them, making them look natural,
cleaning, lengthening and changing the look.
In addition students will learn to
prepare wraps and apply wigs used for stunts.
Lace Wigs and Pieces
Fee:
$450.00 2 day class
In this class students will learn
the correct technique for measuring actors
and various techniques in wrapping
used before the application of a wig.
Production
Fee: $500.00 12 hour classes
In this workshop students learn to
write resumes, portfolios and negotiate salary and benefits.
They will also learn various phases
of responsibilities of a stylist during pre and post production.
The areas covered include
professional set and location conduct and script and crew breakdown
Period and Contemporary Hairstyling
Fee: $550.00 3 day class
Stylist interested in working with
film and print will benefit from this class,
that teaches techniques used in
creating hairstyles for long and short hair from the 1800’s to the late 1970’s.
Master Class
Fee
$1500.00 5 days (40
hour week)
The class is a combination of the
above workshops and with a savings of money and time.

Workshops are conducted Monday
through Friday 9am to 5pm with a daily one hour lunch.
To register for workshops, please print and fill in the attached application one month in advance with a
deposit of 50% of the class fee.

Students
are permitted absences only with legitimate reasons such as illness and must
arrange with
the
instructor to makeup missed work. No refunds will be issued for
unauthorized absences and tardiness.
Leave
of absence must be arranged with an administrator of the workshop. Students
taking leave must return to
Transformations Film & Television Hair Academy for
completion of workshops within 90 days of leave.
We
reserve the right of admission, and to dismiss students for unbecoming
behavior in our facility.
If after registering for a workshop you are
unable to attend please notify us two weeks prior in order
to
be scheduled for the next workshop.
